1. Data controller

LM FINDERS, 103 rue du Temple, 75003 Paris, France, is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy. Questions and requests may be sent to glemeur@lmfinders.com.

2. Data we may process

Depending on your relationship with LM Finders, we may process identification and contact details, professional history, role and employer, publicly available professional information, correspondence, meeting notes, search-related information and any information you choose to provide.

Information may be obtained directly from you, from clients or professional referrals, and from legitimate public professional sources such as company websites, professional directories and professional networking platforms.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Personal data may be processed to respond to enquiries; assess and discuss potential executive-search opportunities; perform search, market-mapping and advisory assignments; manage client and candidate relationships; protect the confidentiality and security of our activities; and comply with legal and accounting obligations.

Processing is based, as applicable, on steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent where required, and LM Finders’ legitimate interests in providing executive-search and advisory services and developing professional relationships.

4. Recipients

Access is limited to LM Finders and, where necessary, carefully selected service providers acting under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Candidate information is shared with a client only where appropriate in the context of a confidential assignment. LM Finders does not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Where a service provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, LM Finders uses an appropriate transfer mechanism and safeguards as required by applicable data-protection law.

6. Retention

Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. As a general guideline, business-prospect information may be retained for up to three years after the last meaningful contact, and candidate information for up to two years after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is justified by an ongoing relationship, a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Accounting records are retained for the statutory period.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact glemeur@lmfinders.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL, at www.cnil.fr.

8. Website cookies and analytics

The public website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party audience-measurement tools. WordPress may use strictly necessary technical cookies for authenticated administrators. If optional analytics or other non-essential trackers are introduced, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before activation.

9. Security and updates

LM Finders applies reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the website, services or applicable law.
